“Made In Britain” is due to broadcast on BBC2 on 21 June
The UK was once quoted as the “workshop of the world”, and is now perceived as a country where the service and financial industries reign supreme - this has been the customary description of Britain’s industrial decline.
Except that nothing could be further from the truth!
Great Britain is still one of the world’s leading and quality manufacturing nations and the future for British industry looks promising.
The BBC, through broadcaster Evan Davis, will examine this in the BBC Two programme “Made in Britain” due to be broadcast on Tuesday 21st June. Check TV schedules for details.
