Supplier Briefing on the national service

From January 2012 the new service will be delivered by the Manufacturing Advisory Consortium (MAC) comprising Grant Thornton, Pera, WM Manufacturing Consortium Ltd and SWMAS Ltd.

Together we will deliver a national service to all manufacturing businesses in England driving business growth and developing advanced manufacturing capabilities through strategic and technical support for SMEs.

To do this successfully we need the active involvement of professional independent consultants and other providers of expertise to manufacturers.

With this in mind an online open access national MAS directory has been developed. This will provide an intelligent search function allowing manufacturers to identify providers with relevant expertise, knowledge and skills.

The MAS directory is now live.  To register please go to www.masdirectory.org/register and complete the ‘basic’ registration. Upon submitting your registration you will receive a confirmation e-mail that you have a 'basic' registration on the MAS Directory. The e-mail will also invite you to login and complete a 'full' registration, whereby, your details will then be searchable to MAS clients utilising the directory to find a delivery consultant for funded MAS projects.
